Role: Head of Finance

Salary: $180,000 - $250,000 + equity + benefits

Location: Remote within the US with travel as required

Role Overview: MFD seeks a seasoned, agile, innovative Head of Finance to oversee all corporate and cash flow finance functions.

The Head Of Finance Will Oversee:

• Internal finance management: expenses, budgets, operating costs
• Inventory and receivables management: billing, invoicing, collections, reconciliation
• Cash management for vendors and merchants: revenue forecasting, payouts, transaction reconciliation
• Capital markets cash flow activities
• Treasury functions: liquidity, vendor payouts, borrowings, collections
• Accounting, bookkeeping, financial reporting, audits, compliance, and tax matters

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Establish transaction and inventory process flows with supply and capital teams
• Create integrated dashboards for transaction reporting
• Maintain pro-forma profitability and expense attribution analysis
• Develop processes for reconciling advance payments, inventory, receivables, and billing
• Monitor transaction profitability and risk exposure via dashboards

Qualifications:

• 10+ years in finance, preferably with manufacturing experience
• Strong analytical, modeling, and budgeting skills
• Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
• Detail-oriented with large datasets
• Project management experience across teams

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in:

• Fintech lending, private equity, inventory trading, global trade, startup growth, revenue/operations control, and integrated operations
