Job summary

JR Automation Technologies, LLC, a Hitachi Group Company, is seeking a Field Service Engineering Manager in Holland, MI. This role leads an engineering services team, oversees daily operations, budgets, and project delivery to meet timing, cost, and quality targets.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in customer management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong automation, mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Proven record of successfully leading a team.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience in Automation or Robotics preferred.
• Experience in Controls is desirable.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Project preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, organize and control the Engineering Services operations and related costs.
• Manage daily operations and planning of materials and human resources to meet customer requirements.
• Review financial statements, sales and activity reports to measure productivity and cost efficiency.
• Provide feedback to internal stakeholders to improve products and services.
• Communicate service/build process aspects to customers regarding timing, quality, and cost.
• Drive process improvements to optimize efficiency.
• Develop sales campaigns and coordinate with sales teams to meet targets.
• Maintain relationships with existing and future customers.
• Assist with quotes to develop solutions for customer needs.
