Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Manager, Field Engineering to lead a diverse, technical pre-sales Solutions Architects team for the Japan region. You will guide peak performance, foster an inclusive culture, and partner with Sales and cross-functional teams to drive data-driven, high-impact solutions.

You will communicate complex ideas clearly, develop strategic customer engagements, and build lasting partnerships with clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Leading or managing technical teams in Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS environments.
• Coaching and developing diverse, high-performing teams.
• Strong collaboration with Sales, Marketing and cross-functional leaders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Technical background in Data Engineering, Databases, or Data Science.
• Fluent Japanese; business-level English preferred.
