Job summary

Oak View Group seeks a Director of Facility Operations to oversee the Ryan Center and Boss Ice Arena. You will lead the Facility Operations team, manage building systems, preventive maintenance, and housekeeping to ensure safety and readiness for events and daily activity.

Qualifications

• Leadership and people management experience in arena or similar facilities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel/Word).
• Budgeting, contracts, vendors, and facility project management.
• Ability to respond to emergencies and operate safely in a loud venue environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct and lead the Facility Operations team; set priorities and assign projects.
• Oversee the Ryan Center and Boss Ice Arena operations, including building systems and housekeeping.
• Manage event cleaning, inventory, and facility supplies; oversee service quality.
• Administer budgets, purchasing, and service agreements with vendors and contractors.
• Ensure life-safety compliance, safety procedures, and regulatory adherence.
• Coordinate with management on staffing, snow operations, and overtime needs.
• Provide on‑duty leadership during events and load‑ins/outs.
