Job summary

Westin Hotels & Resorts in Cape Coral, FL is seeking an Engineering & Facilities leader responsible for maintaining the property, grounds, and energy conservation while overseeing a budget and capital projects. You will lead the emergency response team and ensure standards and regulatory requirements are met.

The role focuses on asset protection, safety, and delivering high-quality guest experiences through proactive maintenance and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related major; 4 years experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area; technical training in HVAC-R/Electrical/Plumbing.
• High school diploma or GED; 6 years experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area; technical training in HVAC-R/Electrical/Plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the building, grounds and physical plant with focus on safety, security and asset protection.
• Manages the budget, capital expenditure projects, and preventative maintenance.
• Leads emergency response and ensures compliance with SOPs and LSOPs.
• Oversees engineering operations and budgets; analyzes financial reports and cost control.
• Ensures life safety systems, licenses, permits and certifications are current.
• Communicates goals and supervises projects to ensure timely completion within budget.

Education

2-year degree (Bachelor/Associate) in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics
