Job summary

Westin Hotels & Resorts in Lahaina, Hawaii seeks a Management-level Engineering & Facilities leader to oversee all engineering and maintenance operations, safety, and energy conservation for the property.

You will manage budgets, capital projects, preventative maintenance and regulatory compliance while guiding the emergency response team and driving a culture of exceptional guest service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4 years of engineering/maintenance experience.
• 2-year degree in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related field with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Engineering in the absence of the Director of Engineering.
• Manage the physical plant including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, electrical and life safety systems.
• Maintain and operate equipment for optimum effectiveness, efficiency and safety.

Education

High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in engineering and maintenance or related professional area; HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing tech training
