Job summary

Sharon Heights Golf & Country Club seeks a highly organized Facilities Director to manage the club's facilities, infrastructure, and systems, ensuring safety, efficiency, and exceptional service for members and staff. The role leads maintenance and security teams, oversees budgets, directs capital projects, and collaborates with department leaders to minimize disruption and drive energy efficiency.

This exempt, full-time position offers a salary range of $140,000–$150,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with 2+ in supervision.
• Experience in private clubs or high-end hospitality is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of facilities systems and maintenance management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee repair and upkeep of buildings, machinery, and systems, with proactive recommendations.
• Lead capital improvements, renovations, and ongoing maintenance initiatives.
• Direct supervision of maintenance staff, including training and scheduling.
• Inspect facilities for safety, coordinate with regulators (OSHA, EPA).
• Manage budgets, procure maintenance services, and track assets.
• Implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance system and logs.
• Coordinate with outside contractors to complete projects on time and budget.
• Drive energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives where applicable.
• Collaborate with other departments to anticipate needs and minimize disruptions.
• Serve as primary point of contact for emergency maintenance and security.
