Job summary

Sharon Heights Golf & Country Club in Menlo Park, CA seeks a Head Golf Professional to lead the Golf Department, deliver exceptional member experiences, and oversee all golf operations with a focus on program development and staff leadership.

The role reports to the Director of Golf, requires Class A PGA membership, and a minimum of five years of leadership at a premier private facility. Competitive salary range and full-time benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Class A PGA Member in good standing required; Master designation preferred.
• Minimum of five years of progressive golf operations leadership at a premier private club or resort.
• Strong customer service, leadership, training, and communication skills.
• Proficient with golf management software, MS Office, POS systems, and tee sheet management.

Responsibilities

• Provide a personable, professional golf environment with exceptional member experiences.
• Plan, implement, and execute all golf programming including events, leagues, and outings.
• Direct daily golf operations: shop, outside services, practice facilities, carts, and repairs.
• Recruit, hire, schedule, supervise, and develop Golf Department staff; manage payroll and staffing.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure seamless club operations and service standards.
• Oversee budget development and financial performance for the Golf Department.
