Job summary

Senior Solutions, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee all maintenance functions at our Suwanee facility, ensuring budget adherence and a safe, sanitary environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

The role involves planning, procurement, and supervision of preventive and corrective tasks to maintain critical systems. You will coordinate with staff and external consultants, support hiring and training of new staff, and participate in safety inspections and committees to uphold

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must read, write, and speak English.
• General knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems recommended.
• Additional certification/education regarding building codes, safety regulations, HVAC, mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and plumbing systems strongly recommended.
• Candidate should be able to lift 45 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, preparation and control of supplies, equipment, repairs and personnel budgets.
• Assure a safe and sanitary environment for residents, visitors and staff.
• Maintain positive public relations by displaying professionalism in contacts with residents and their families, employees and the general public.
• Perform and/or ensure that all preventive and corrective maintenance is completed and complies with procedures listed in the maintenance manual.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with staff, consultants, and Executive Director when appropriate, but do not attempt to perform work beyond capabilities.
• Assist Executive Director in hiring and training of new staff.
• Participate in all safety inspections and safety committee activities.
