Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP in Newark, New Jersey, is seeking a Director to develop and scale a holistic custodial equipment strategy across the organization. You will advise site and executive leaders, synthesize market insights, and translate complex data into actionable recommendations to drive enterprise-wide decisions.

The role requires 7+ years in custodial equipment/operations, a business or engineering degree, and proven ability to present to C-suite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 7+ years of experience in custodial equipment, equipment management, or related discipline.
• Experience presenting complex information to senior or executive-level stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assess custodial and operational equipment market, including manufacturers, technologies, pricing trends, and innovation.
• Develop clear, defensible recommendations balancing cost, performance, scalability, and risk.
• Inform enterprise standards, sourcing strategies, and capital investment decisions with Procurement, Operations, Finance, and Strategy teams.
• Provide equipment-related recommendations and technical input for client RFPs and renewal activities.
• Site advisory visits to assess equipment, utilization, maintenance, and deployment effectiveness.
