Qualifications

• Weld test to demonstrate TIG proficiency.
• 10+ years of stainless-steel fabrication skills (layout, cutting, grinding, forming, fitting).
• 10+ years of supervisory experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; trade skills a plus.
• Basic mechanic and math skills; read a tape measure and design prints.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and mentor team members.
• Oversee staffing to meet operational needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized fabrication department.
• Organize daily fabrication operations for efficiency.
• Minimize downtime by addressing shortages, equipment issues, bottlenecks, scheduling.
• Ensure work meets quality standards and specifications.
• Coordinate workflow with other departments to maintain production flow.
• Monitor schedules and adjust priorities to meet deadlines.
• Promote efficient use of materials and responsible resources.
• Foster craftsmanship and pride in work.
