Job summary

NXA is seeking a Journeyman Fabricator in Northwest Arkansas. You will weld and assemble components using TIG welding, contributing to a facility known for safety, quality, and teamwork.

We offer competitive pay of $20.00 to $30.00 per hour, plus 100% company-paid medical and dental coverage, and a 401(k) with up to 4% company match at one of the region's largest manufacturing facilities.

Qualifications

  • TIG welding proficiency demonstrated through a test.
  • Exceptional stainless-steel fabrication skills (layout, cutting, grinding, forming, fitting).
  • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools.

Responsibilities

  • Build weldments & assemblies from raw materials to finished products.
  • TIG weld components using industrial shop equipment.
  • Apply proper welding procedures, machine settings, purging, and filler selection.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $20.00 To $30.00 Hourly

Responsibilities

  • Build weldments & assemblies, from layout of raw materials to finished products
  • TIG weld components using industrial metal shop equipment
  • Use proper welding procedures/techniques for the given task, such as, weld prep, machine settings, purging, and appropriate filler selection base on material grade/thickness
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Weld test required to demonstrate TIG welding proficiency and skill
  • 10 plus years of experience in welding/fabrication
  • Exceptional stainless-steel fabrication skills, including layout, cutting, grinding, forming, fitting, TIG & MIG welding
  • Basic mechanic and math skills
  • Ability to read a tape measure and use a protractor
  • Must be able to read and interpret design drawing prints
  • Able to properly & safely rig large components, and operate a forklift
  • Willingness to work overtime or occasional weekends as requested to meet deadlines and customer expectations
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. repeatedly
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Pre-employment drug screen and background check
