Job summary

LaunchDarkly is seeking a senior product leader to own the Experimentation pillar and drive AI-native experimentation capabilities across data science, PMs, and engineering. You will shape strategy, align with AI product, observability, and feature management leaders, and build closed-loop processes from offline evaluation to production experiments.

You will win senior data scientists, define required capabilities for statistical depth and warehouse-wide analysis, and partner with sales to win

Qualifications

• Deep, operator-level fluency in experimentation methodology: causal inference, variance reduction, ratio metrics, sequential testing, exposure design, multi-armed bandits, and composite/multi-objective metrics.

Responsibilities

• Own the Experimentation pillar. Direct leadership of the Product team. Partner with Engineering and Design in a triad model. Deliver strategy, roadmap, and commercial outcomes.
• Make experimentation the measurement layer of the AI SDLC. Build a closed loop from offline evaluation through production experiments, to automatic promotion and rollback.
• Win the high-maturity buyer by defining required capabilities and shipping on a timeline that wins reference deals.
• Make warehouse-native a weapon by expanding coverage across major data warehouses and query layers.
• Operate a high-performing function by shipping predictably and hiring where gaps exist.
• Be the external face of the category, translating strategy to field and enabling sales to win head-to-head.
