Job summary

Google in the United States is seeking an experienced Director of Engineering for Product Experimentation and Evaluations to lead the transformation of our product testing and market impact ecosystem for the AI era. You will craft and execute a strategy to integrate fragmented analytics into a trusted, agent-centric platform that scales with feature experiments.

You will build and lead a large, high-performing team, align cross-functional partners, and drive rapid, evidence-based decision making

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/Engineering.
15 years of software engineering experience, with 8 years in a technical engineering role.
10 years of experience in engineering leadership.

Responsibilities

Define strategy and lead consolidation of disparate experimentation tools/teams into a single platform.
Navigate highly-volatile and fast-evolving product requirements as AI-native capabilities transform workflows.
Manage/build a team with a culture of technical excellence, customer obsession, partnership, and bias-to-action.
Work with cross-functional leaders to achieve alignment on strategy roadmaps and drive coordinated execution.
Optimize roadmap execution and adapt priorities to balance near-term customer needs with long-term outcomes.
