Job summary

Upstart is seeking a Principal Product Manager for the Experimentation Platform. You will co-lead a cross‑functional platform that enables scalable experimentation, model deployment, and unified testing across teams.

The role partners with ML, analytics, and engineering to define how experimentation drives product growth and learning. A strong background in building ML-enabled platforms and cross‑team collaboration is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience with technically complex software or platforms.
• Experience owning strategy and roadmaps for platform projects.
• Experience partnering with engineering, data science, ML, or analytics teams.
• Experience applying quantitative methods to product decisions.
• Experience building platforms that support ML/AI workflows.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the strategy and roadmap for the experimentation platform across teams.
• Collaborate with ML, analytics, and engineering to enable model deployments and experimentation patterns.
• Create abstractions and guardrails to improve quality and reduce fragmentation.
• Establish a center of excellence for experimentation standards and practices.
• Partner with Growth, Servicing, Capital, and other teams to drive adoption of shared capabilities.
• Guide technology choices and vendor partnerships to support the platform strategy.
