Job summary

Legends in Peoria, IL, seeks a Director of Event Services to lead and coordinate event operations, guest services, safety, and staff performance across the facility. You will supervise Event Managers and coordinators, develop service standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires strong leadership, budget awareness, and experience with contract negotiations, staffing, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combinations considered.
• Minimum of 3 years in supervisory/management role in public assembly, convention center, arena, entertainment, hospitality, or event industry.
• Experience with contract negotiations, budget development, and labor relations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Event Manager and Event Coordinators; plan and assign daily work for Event Services staff.
• Direct event operations: staffing, security, risk management, and ADA compliance.
• Develop department goals, procedures, and service standards; align with guest experience goals.
