Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combinations of education/experience considered.
• Minimum of 3 years in public assembly, convention center, arena, or event industry in a supervisory/management role.
• Experience with contract negotiations, budget development and labor relations preferred.
• Proven ability to supervise, train, coach, and develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate personnel and daily activities for successful event execution.
• Supervise Event Manager/Coordinator staff and plan day-to-day work allocations.
• Oversee event operations, staffing, security, crowd/risk management, ADA compliance.
• Develop operating procedures aligned with client and organizational goals.
