Job summary

Legends Global at the Peoria Civic Center is seeking a Director of Event Services to lead the Event Services team. You will direct personnel, subcontractors, and all daily activities to ensure exceptional guest experiences and flawless event execution.

Starting salary ranges from $85,000 to $95,000 based on experience. Reporting to the Senior Director of Operations, you will oversee budgeting, staffing, safety, and compliance while coordinating with Patron Services, Security, F&B, and venue

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum of three years of supervisory or management experience in event/venue settings.
• Professional certifications (CVP/CVE/CMP) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train Event Manager and Event Coordinator staff.
• Direct and schedule event operations including staffing, security, and safety.
• Develop budgets, labor forecasts, and manage operating expenses.
• Ensure compliance with laws, codes, and safety procedures.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with departments to ensure smooth event execution.
