Job summary

Altana is seeking a leader to guide a team of enterprise Sales Engineers and own the technical side of the enterprise sales motion. You will translate complex topics into practical value, shaping discovery, demos, and proofs of concept across multiple stakeholders.

You will oversee the field-to-product feedback loop and collaborate with Product Marketing to position our solutions while traveling for customer engagements and on-site workshops as needed.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in sales engineering or solutions consulting with leadership experience
• Proven ability to coach technical teams to excellence in customer engagements
• Hands-on implementation experience with complex enterprise deployments
• Experience leading architecture, integration, and data discussions with executives and engineers

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Sales Engineering team and define career paths
• Define the Sales Engineering role within the sales process and customer journey
• Own the POV methodology and ensure credible business cases and outcomes
• Own the field-to-product feedback loop and collaborate with Product Marketing
• Travel 25–50% for customer meetings, workshops, and field time
