Simmons Bank is seeking a senior leader to drive the Enterprise Risk Management framework, enabling identification and monitoring of enterprise-wide risks within risk appetite. You will mentor risk teams, partner with business leaders, and present insights to executives and the Board.

The role requires strong governance experience, executive communication, and a track record of risk-informed decision support across a complex financial institution.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a related field required.
• Eight or more years in banking or financial services with leadership.
• Five or more years in enterprise risk management with cross-functional leadership.
• Recognized as a subject matter expert in risk management.

Responsabilités

• Directs creation and improvement of ERM policies, standards, frameworks, risk taxonomy, risk appetite, and governance documents.
• Oversees processes for identifying, assessing, prioritizing, and aggregating material risks.
• Assesses risk response strategies and escalates material exposures or risk acceptance decisions.
• Monitors and reports the enterprise risk profile and appetite performance to execs and the Board.
• Designs ERM communication and training strategies.
• Builds consensus among senior leadership and cross-functional partners on risk initiatives.
• Selects and optimizes GRC systems for taxonomy, risk and reporting.
• Leads enterprise risk analysis and translates risk into strategic insights.
