Job summary

Simmons Bank seeks an experienced leader to develop and execute the Enterprise Risk Management framework across the organization. You will identify, assess, monitor, and report risks while mentoring the risk team and partnering with business leaders to support risk-informed decisions.

You will tailor risk appetite, present insights to the executive team and board, and drive continuous improvement of enterprise risk practices across the bank.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required.
• Eight+ years in banking or financial services with leadership.
• Five+ years in enterprise risk management with cross-functional teams.
• Subject matter expert and thought leader in risk management.

Responsibilities

• Directs development and maintenance of enterprise risk framework and risk appetite.
• Leads risk policy creation, governance, and escalation processes.
• Aggregates and reports enterprise risk to executives and the board.
• Partners with risk owners to evaluate response strategies and action plans.
• Delivers risk communications and training across the organization.
• Leads adoption and integration of GRC systems and data quality standards.
• Develops risk analysis methods and identifies interdependencies and trends.
• Ensures compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.
