Job summary

Simmons First National Corporation is seeking a senior leader to own and mature the Enterprise Risk Management program across the bank. You will develop and execute the ERM framework, guide risk-informed decision making, and partner with executives to align with strategy.

You will lead risk governance, KPI reporting to the Board, and drive continuous improvement of ERM practices while mentoring risk teams and implementing GRC tools across the organization.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a related field.
• Eight or more years of banking/financial services experience with leadership.
• Five or more years in enterprise risk management with cross-functional leadership.
• Recognized subject matter expert in risk management.

Responsibilities

• Directs creation and continuous improvement of ERM policies, standards, and frameworks.
• Oversees processes for identifying, assessing, prioritizing, and aggregating material risks.
• Monitors risk appetite, exposures, and risk governance across the organization.
• Delivers risk presentations to executives, committees, and regulators.
• Designs risk training and communication strategies company-wide.
• Leads risk initiatives and partners with senior leaders to drive decisions.
• Selects and optimizes GRC systems and ensures data quality.
• Maintains compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
