Job summary

Salesforce seeks a SVP, Research & Insights - Experience Design to lead enterprise research across major portfolios and platforms. You will shape strategy and insights programs, ensuring evidence informs architecture and roadmaps while maintaining independence and credibility.

You will recruit and develop top researchers, integrate qualitative and quantitative evidence, and build a durable knowledge system that informs critical decisions with context and transparency.

Qualifications

• Experience leading research across a complex, multi‑product enterprise at scale.
• Evidence that you led research that changed product strategy, architecture, or investments.
• Deep expertise in qualitative research, behavioral science, mixed methods and measurement.
• Experience with AI, automation, human factors, intelligent systems, trust or human‑machine collaboration.
• Executive presence and courage to challenge stakeholders and protect findings.
• Track record building and leading a central research organization with portfolio leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead an enterprise Research + Insights agenda aligned to critical product decisions.
• Build Experience Intelligence as a live, cumulative understanding of customers and work.
• Ensure research informs strategy before solution direction and roadmaps solidify.
• Create a continuous evaluation system from concepts to production outcomes.
• Define models for human‑agent collaboration, trust, delegation, and learning.
• Develop a durable knowledge system with searchable customer and product evidence.
