Job summary

Stord, The Consumer Experience Company, is seeking a Director of Learning & Development to build enterprise onboarding and scalable training tracks that align with acquisitions and growth. You will design centralized L&D governance, Own Workday Learning, and partner with leadership to close skill gaps while delivering measurable impact across time-to-productivity and retention.

You will lead a functional training team across Sales, Customer Experience, and Product, measuring success through

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Learning & Development and at least 3 years owning a training function or program end-to-end.
• Demonstrated success designing and scaling a training program from an early stage.
• Experience designing for multiple modalities (video, exercises, job aids, live facilitation, microlearning).
• Hands-on instructional design translating processes into practical training.
• Self-starter with a passion for scalable L&D and building functions.
• Strong collaboration with department leaders and SMEs to drive capability.
• Data-driven approach to KPIs like time-to-competency and completion rates.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools to accelerate content creation.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a centralized L&D framework across enterprise teams including governance and standards.
• Own onboarding and accelerate productivity for new hires and acquisitions.
• Partner with department leaders to identify skill gaps and develop relevant content.
• Define and track KPIs to prove learning program value and drive improvements.
• Build and lead a training team for functional training across Sales, Customer Experience, and Product.
