Job summary

Travere Therapeutics in San Diego is seeking a Senior Director, Enterprise Data & Intelligence to build a trusted data foundation and drive analytics, reporting, and AI readiness across the organization.

This executive role blends strategic leadership with deep technical credibility, guiding data platforms, governance, MSP partnerships, and internal teams to enable informed decisions and digital transformation while partnering with AI Strategy & Engineering and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of twelve (12) years of progressive leadership experience in Enterprise Data, Analytics, BI, Data Engineering, or related discipline within life sciences/pharma.
• Proven success developing enterprise data strategies, roadmaps, and operating models aligned to business objectives.
• Experience leading enterprise data platforms with modern cloud technologies and scalable architectures.
• Experience building enterprise capabilities via internal teams, MSPs, and strategic partners.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, technology investments, vendor relationships, and strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Proven ability to influence executives and drive cross-functional partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the enterprise vision, strategy, roadmap, and investment plan for Enterprise Data & Intelligence.
• Evolve an enterprise operating model balancing centralized data platforms with business-owned analytics.
• Partner across the enterprise to identify opportunities where trusted data improves decision-making and outcomes.
• Lead strategy, architecture, and evolution of the enterprise data platform for scalable, governed capabilities.
• Establish governance, data quality, stewardship, and information management to enable agility and protect assets.
• Build the Enterprise Data & Intelligence function through an MSP-first model and evolve internal capabilities.
• Collaborate with AI Strategy to ensure data serves as a trusted foundation for AI, ML, and automation.
• Maintain executive oversight of portfolio, investments, vendor management, and enterprise architecture.
