Job summary

State Street Corporation is seeking a head of Enterprise Architecture to own the target-state design of the technology estate and drive governance, patterns, and standards across platforms, data and AI initiatives.

You will lead a globally distributed architecture team, define an AI-enabled architecture, and ensure cost-aware decisions while delivering fast, governance-driven outcomes at scale.

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineering and architecture career culminating in principal-architect or enterprise-architecture leadership roles.
• Delivery of enterprise-wide architecture programmes across multi-cloud and hybrid estates with target-state definition.
• Deep expertise across cloud-native architecture, Kubernetes, distributed systems, event streaming, API/integration patterns, IaC and zero-trust security.

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise technology blueprint across infrastructure, cloud, security, data and applications.
• Chair governance boards and manage decision logs with fast delivery cycles.
• Partner with business-unit tech leaders to avoid siloed decisions and retrofit governance.
