Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Manager to build and lead a high-performing team of Applied AI Engineers serving enterprise customers. You will oversee design, production readiness, and adoption of AI systems, guiding architecture decisions and ensuring value delivery across multiple business units.

You will coach engineers, partner with Sales and Solutions Engineering, and scale repeatable patterns while advancing responsible AI adoption across customer portfolios.

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing customer-facing technical teams.
• Ability to coach engineers through architecture and evaluation decisions.
• Experience taking AI/ML systems from prototype to production.

Responsibilities

• Build, manage, and develop a high-performing team of Applied AI Engineers.
• Own the quality and impact of the team’s work across design, implementation, and production readiness.
• Coach architecture, model selection, evaluations, reliability, safety, and security decisions.
• Establish an operating model for prioritizing accounts and engagements.
• Serve as senior technical escalation point during launches and incidents.
• Partner with executives to connect implementations to measurable outcomes.
• Translate customer needs into actionable feedback for internal teams.
• Develop reusable architectures, playbooks, and enablement across the portfolio.
• Hire thoughtfully and foster an inclusive culture of learning.
