Job summary

Hilton Dallas Park Cities is seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to lead the hotel’s engineering team, owning and elevating the function to ensure peak performance and guest safety. You will oversee preventive maintenance, asset protection, and vendor relationships, delivering reliable, energy-conscious operations.

The role demands hands-on leadership, expert knowledge of building systems, and strong financial acumen to manage budgets and capital planning while mentoring a high-performing team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related technical field preferred.
• Minimum 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience in hospitality engineering, facilities management, or related industry.
• Proven track record of building and managing high-performing technical teams.
• Experience with luxury or boutique hospitality properties strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Elevate and strengthen an already fully operational engineering function.
• Gain deep understanding of the building's existing systems and optimize processes.
• Lead an engineering team to deliver reliable, guest-focused operations.
• Maintain preventive maintenance protocols and long-term asset protection plans.
• Manage vendor relationships and service agreements to support cost-effective performance.
• Update and enforce SOPs and emergency response plans for guest safety and continuity.
• Partner cross-functionally to support seamless hotel operations and foster collaboration.
