Job summary

Hyatt Vacation Ownership is seeking a seasoned Engineering Leader to manage operations and budgeting for the property. You will oversee the physical plant, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and water treatment while administering service contracts and ensuring safety procedures are followed.

Drive cost control, coach the team, develop long-range maintenance and asset protection plans, and communicate clear goals to leadership and staff. Relocation assistance available and driving is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 6 years in engineering/maintenance and HVAC-R/Electrical/Plumbing training.
• 2-year degree plus 4 years in engineering/maintenance with HVAC-R/Electrical/Plumbing training.

Responsibilities

• Manage Engineering Operations and Budgets.
• Lead with property and regional leaders to compare performance against budget.
• Oversee physical plant: equipment, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and water treatment.
• Administer service contracts to support property needs.
• Ensure fire crew understands procedures, equipment and alarms.
• Coach engineering leaders to manage controllable expenses.
• Develop and implement engineering operating strategy aligned with business goals.
• Review financial reports to track budget performance.
• Oversee long-term preventive maintenance and 10-year asset plans.
• Communicate departmental goals clearly to produce results.
