Qualifications

• Translator/Interpreter Certificate preferred.
• Multilingual preferred.
• Strong verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all translations and interpretations district-wide.
• Maintain roster and availability of educational translators and interpreters.
• Schedule interpreters for schools and family events.
• Prepare monthly reports and payroll/audit documentation.
• Serve as emergency interpreter/translator when needed.
• Ensure district materials are available in multiple languages.
• Work with schools to translate materials prior to distribution.
• Assess district needs to plan services and budget impact.
• Monitor state and federal guidelines to ensure compliance.
• Manage translation vendor services.
• Perform related duties as needed.
