Suno is building a world-class AI-powered music platform. We seek a Director of Editorial to lead editorial strategy, curation, and program development that resonates across communities and artists.

You will shape how music is discovered, featured, and described on Suno, balancing human taste with algorithmic signals. You’ll grow the editorial team, partner with Product/Engineering, and represent Suno in industry conversations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in A&R or editorial in the music industry.
• Strong point of view on music curation, discovery, and authentic editorial programs.
• Experience building and improving processes across marketing or editorial workflows.
• Familiarity with metadata and taxonomy systems.
• Excellent communicator with senior artists teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Set the editorial vision for music discovery and celebration within Suno, including in-app playlist curation, artist spotlights, and taxonomy.
• Oversee development and maintenance of Suno's curation frameworks to reflect community breadth and AI trends.
• Champion artist spotlights and features as a touchpoint for community recognition and storytelling.
• Ensure editorial decisions are informed by data, feedback, and cultural context while balancing algorithmic signals.
• Help build and lead the editorial team, including hiring, mentoring, and setting standards for curators.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to align human editorial signals with algorithms.
• Develop a POV on editorial quality and originality for Suno's music.
• Manage editorial balance between Suno-produced music and licensed music.
• Drive editorial from discovery to engagement/remixing and external representation of Suno.
• Define and track success metrics and report impact to leadership.
