Job summary

Suno, Inc. is seeking a Director, Business Development, Publishing Partnerships to drive strategy and execution of commercial relationships with music publishers. You will lead complex negotiations and shape Suno's publishing partnerships.

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will collaborate across product, legal, finance, operations, and partnerships to expand Suno's presence in AI music and entertainment technology.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in business development or commercial negotiations within the music and digital technology space.
• Proven experience negotiating and closing complex, high-value deals, including first-of-a-kind partnerships.
• Experience working with music publishers.
• Strong track record of influencing and aligning stakeholders across multiple levels, including executive leadership.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Autonomy, ownership, and strategic judgment; comfortable navigating without a playbook.
• Strong product intuition and collaboration with product/technical teams.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-growth technology environments.

Responsibilities

• Support Suno’s commercial strategy for partnerships with music industry companies, driving alignment across product, legal, finance, and operations.
• Negotiate and close deals with publishers, including first-of-kind structures in a still-evolving category.
• Build and maintain senior-level relationships with publishers to expand Suno’s reputation and credibility.
• Monitor AI music market dynamics and advise leadership on opportunities and strategy.
• Develop scalable approaches to contract management, partner operations, and long-term industry collaboration.
• Support strategic initiatives across ecosystem partnerships and platform integrations as Suno grows.
