Job summary

Forterra is seeking a senior analytics leader to architect and expand our edge and cloud analytics platform. You will guide a team of analytics engineers, collaborating with data warehousing and edge data teams to accelerate autonomous robotics insights.

The role demands deep expertise in enterprise analytics, strong data governance, and a track record of delivering scalable data products in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years building and maintaining enterprise scale analytics platforms (eg. DBT, Tableau, Grafana PowerBI, Looker).
• 5+ years managing data analysts, data engineers, data analytics engineers, data scientists, data modelers, BI engineers.
• 5+ years in fast-paced startup environments.
• 5+ years working with highly sensitive data (eg. financial, medical, government contracts).
• Proven track record of building analytics platforms from the ground up that deliver high impact insights and data products.
• Love for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Architect edge and cloud analytics platform and build it from the ground up to deliver insights, recommendations and clarity.
• Manage team of analytics engineers working with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ensure Forterra is on the cutting edge of robotics analytics.
• Manage data governance for analytics and collaborate with data warehousing and edge data engineering to ensure data quality, timeliness, secure and accessible.
