Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an engineer for the Robotics Data Foundation to design and build cloud data systems that ingest, store and expose vehicle telemetry across fleets. You will normalise data across controllers and sensors and expose it to downstream analysis tools, enabling large-scale batch and low-latency streaming ingestion.

Qualifications

• Experience with lakehouse architectures (Iceberg, Delta Lake) and ETL systems.
• Experience developing and operating high-throughput streaming pipelines (Spark Streaming, Flink, Kafka).
• Strong proficiency in Python, Java, Rust and/or Go (team uses Python & Rust).
• Experience building and operating cloud systems, including Docker and Kubernetes, GitOps tools.

Responsibilities

• Build reliable and performant cloud data systems with high availability for large telemetry.
• Design extensible telemetry and data architectures for diverse data sources.
• Enable data-driven engineering by delivering live telemetry streams to cloud destinations and tools.
• Develop cloud-native systems that also work on edge nodes and offline environments.
• Engage with customers to understand data requirements and deliver iterative solutions.
