Job summary

Moderna seeks an experienced oncology drug development lead in Clinical Development to guide one or more mRNA-based precision immunotherapies. Early-phase development expertise is essential, with medical oversight for CDP design, protocols, and study execution.

The role partners with Translational Medicine, Biostatistics, Regulatory, and CROs, driving end-to-end clinical strategy, risk/benefit assessment, and regulatory interactions to advance patient access.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor (M.D.) or equivalent with hematology/oncology background.
• Experience in oncology drug development in biopharma.
• Experience with immunotherapeutics is preferred.
• Fellowship training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end clinical development strategy for oncology assets.
• Design and oversee CDP, protocol writing, and study execution.
• Collaborate with Translational Medicine, Biostatistics, Regulatory, CROs and other functions to meet development goals.
• Provide medical leadership and risk/benefit assessment for assets.
