Moderna is seeking an experienced oncology drug development lead for clinical development in mRNA-based precision immunotherapies. You will develop the Clinical Development Plan, design studies, and lead regulatory submissions while collaborating with internal teams and CROs.

The role demands leadership across translational medicine, statistics, regulatory, and commercial functions, with a focus on early-phase programs and scientific innovation.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or non-US equivalent with hematology/oncology experience.
• 3–5 years in oncology drug development in biopharmaceutical industry.
• Oncology/hematology immunotherapeutics experience preferred.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and programs.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Clinical Development Plan for oncology assets.
• Integrate scientific rationale, regulatory requirements, and commercial goals into study designs.
• Lead end-to-end clinical development strategy to regulatory approvals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners (CROs, regulators).
• Provide leadership in clinical scientists development and strategic initiatives.
