Job summary

Zaxby’s Franchising LLC is seeking a Director of Distribution and Logistics to lead the enterprise distribution network, overseeing supplier-to-restaurant delivery, distributor relationships, and performance metrics across the franchise system.

The role requires strong leadership, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration to scale operations, manage costs, and ensure promotional readiness for new market openings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required or strongly preferred.
• 7–10 years of progressive experience in distribution/logistics.
• 5+ years leading teams and distributor/3PL relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the enterprise distribution and logistics strategy for food, packaging, supplies, and promotional items across the Zaxbys restaurant network.
• Own end-to-end distribution performance from supplier ship point through distributor warehousing, outbound routing, restaurant delivery, and acceptance of product.
• Lead strategic relationships with distributor partners, including operating cadence, executive reviews, service-level expectations, and issue escalation.
• Oversee distributor inventory positions, target days-on-hand, safety stock, forecast accuracy, and obsolescence mitigation.
• Collaborate with Planning, Procurement, Culinary, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and suppliers to ensure launch readiness for new products and promos.
