Job summary

Edward Jones seeks a Design Quality and Excellence Senior Manager to lead the operational backbone of Enterprise Design, guiding design systems, workflows, and AI-driven improvements. You will manage a growing team of designers and contractors, driving quality, velocity, and measurable outcomes across portfolios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Design, Engineering, or related field; advanced design leadership preferred.
• 5+ years in design/design operations; 4+ years leading designers or ops teams.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale programs across multiple teams and functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI transformation initiatives within Enterprise Design and establish governance across design tooling.
• Govern design systems, tooling, and quality standards in AI-enabled PDLCs.
• Develop maturity models for design capability and track progress with defined benchmarks.
• Oversee staffing, budget, and vendor contracts for design portfolios and talent pipelines.
• Centralize accessibility standards and manage accessibility specialists within the function.
• Partner with senior leaders to align portfolio planning, resourcing, and cross-functional priorities.
• Foster a culture of design excellence and knowledge sharing across the firm.
• Define and monitor operational metrics using dashboards and data to drive investments.
