Job summary

AAA seeks a Head of Design eBiz to shape the aesthetic and UX vision across mobile app, website and emails. You will lead design execution from discovery through development, cultivate a design culture, recruit and coach a strong team of designers and product managers, and ensure alignment with business goals.

You will define product strategy for digital channels, oversee marketing collaborations, and drive SEO integration while optimizing product profitability and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Graphic Design.
• 7-9 years UI/UX design experience.
• 7-9 years ecommerce product management experience.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Familiar with industry-standard design tools.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong design sensibility.
• Experience with web and mobile development feasibility.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, QA and engineers.
• Strong ability to create simple, intuitive user interfaces.
• Strong empathy toward user goals.

Responsibilities

• Define the design workflow and team structure for collaboration with product, marketing and engineering.
• Direct development, planning and implementation of product and process development for new products.
• Provide innovative and creative solutions that meet market needs and increase product value.
• Use market and customer research to shape product offerings and distribution.
• Manage timelines and resources to launch products.
• Act as brand steward with a design style guide and UX pattern library.
• Determine features to add and plan pricing, positioning and channel strategies.
• Evaluate processes and tooling to improve design delivery.
• Oversee SEO strategy across products.
• Mentor design staff and foster collaboration.
• Stay current on design trends and attend industry events.
• Make independent decisions impacting major initiatives.
