Job summary

Owner.com, a remote-first global company, is seeking a Head of Design, Consumer to own the guest experience end to end. You will shape the design vision, lead a small team, and tackle the most complex design challenges across online ordering, native apps, loyalty, and lifecycle engagement.

You will build scalable design systems, prioritize high-impact work, and partner with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to align design decisions with business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product design, including leadership of designers.
• Exceptional hands-on craft with a portfolio of complex consumer experiences.
• Experience building scalable design systems across multi-brand or multi-tenant products.
• Deep expertise in consumer products, commerce, and native mobile (iOS/Android).
• AI-native practitioner who prototypes, designs in code, and ships AI-powered experiences.
• Ability to link design decisions to business outcomes via experimentation and metrics.
• Strong product judgment, ownership, urgency, and willingness to challenge assumptions.

Responsibilities

• Own the consumer experience across online ordering, apps, loyalty, and lifecycle.
• Build scalable design systems delivering differentiated experiences across restaurant brands.
• Lead through craft while mentoring a senior design team.
• Drive measurable outcomes using experimentation and data to improve conversion and revenue.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to shape product strategy.
• Ship AI-native consumer experiences and accelerate execution with code.
