Job summary

Billennium seeks a thoughtful Head of Delivery Excellence to safeguard financial health and maturity across delivery teams. You will be the first line of intervention, working with data, people, and processes to create clarity, accountability, and confidence across projects.

You will lead risk reviews, collaborate with Delivery Managers, and apply AI tools to detect risks, automate reporting, and improve forecasting accuracy. This is a high‑impact internal leadership role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Delivery Manager with real ownership of financial results.
• Proven experience working with external clients, including difficult conversations, escalations, delays, and scope changes.
• Strong ability to read and interpret financial data (CM1, margins, baseline deviations).
• Experience in PMO, delivery audit, or consulting environments.
• Hands‑on experience using AI tools to improve delivery efficiency, risk detection, reporting, or financial forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Support projects as the first point of intervention, helping teams regain control before financial risk escalates.
• Lead bi‑weekly project reviews across delivery domains, asking insightful questions and constructively challenging assumptions.
• Work confidently with delivery and financial data: CM1, baseline vs. actuals, missing hours, and SoW deviations.
• Create and continuously improve blueprints and playbooks for key project types (T&M, Fixed Price, Maintenance).
• Identify early warning signals and elevate projects exceeding financial risk thresholds to the Head of Delivery Excellence.
• Partner closely with Delivery Managers and PMs, offering guidance, structure, and calm support in complex situations.
• Contribute to building a culture of transparency, ownership, and learning across delivery teams.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance delivery excellence — from early risk detection and financial anomaly identification to automating reporting, improving forecasting accuracy, and scaling best practices across projects.

Role Summary

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Delivery Manager (budget 500k+ PLN) with real ownership of financial results
• Proven experience working with external clients, including difficult conversations, escalations, delays, and scope changes
• Strong ability to read and interpret financial data (CM1, margins, baseline deviations)
• Assertive and confident communication style — supported by real examples of challenging managers or clients constructively
• Experience in PMO, delivery audit, or consulting environments
• Hands-on experience using AI tools to improve delivery efficiency, risk detection, reporting, or financial forecasting
• Background in IT consulting or software house environments
• English communication skills at C1 level
