Job summary

S&P Dow Jones Indices seeks a senior engineering leader to drive enterprise data architecture and governance at scale. You will manage 50+ engineers, shape data lineage, security, and AI-grounded systems, and align roadmaps with product and executive stakeholders.

The role emphasizes collaboration across Product, Security, and leadership, with a focus on transforming data platforms and AI capabilities to advance business growth.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of engineering experience with 5+ years in directing and scaling large teams.

• Deep technical expertise in data platform architecture (Delta Lake, Iceberg).
•  
• Experience leading enterprise data management initiatives at petabyte scale.
•  
• Hands-on experience with AWS data services and Databricks platform.
•  
• Proven ability to drive organizational transformation and partner with Product/Security/Exec leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale a large, multi-disciplinary engineering organization (50+ engineers) across cross-functional teams.

• Architect and implement enterprise data management and governance with automated data lineage and security.
•  
• Oversee autonomous AI system development with grounded, governed data and robust modeling.
•  
• Guide zero-copy, multi-platform lakehouse architecture integrating Delta Lake and Iceberg across AWS services.
•  
• Collaborate with Product, Security, and leadership to align roadmaps with business/compliance needs.
•  
• Drive transformation initiatives advancing enterprise AI and data platform capabilities.
