Job summary

S&P Dow Jones Indices, a division of S&P Global, seeks a seasoned software and data platform leader to drive modern data architectures and MDM integration across Databricks lakehouse and NeoXam. You will guide cloud transformations, implement AI/ML automation, and mentor high-performing engineering teams.

Responsibilities include migrating legacy assets to AWS, enabling microservices, and delivering scalable data solutions while collaborating with product and business partners.

Qualifications

• 9+ years in software engineering and data platform development.
• 7+ years of people management experience leading technical teams in fast-paced environments.
• Advanced expertise in cloud data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake with ETL/ELT experience.
• Strong experience with cloud infrastructure including AWS services (S3, EMR, Glue, Lambda).
• Proven leadership in large-scale data migrations and system modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic MDM integration initiatives across Databricks lakehouse and NeoXam MDM platform.
• Architect and oversee high-volume data integration to establish foundational data architecture for multi-billion-dollar index products.
• Drive advanced cloud data architecture using Unity Catalog, Delta Live Tables, and Serverless compute for massive datasets.
• Mentor and grow multiple teams of software/data engineers.
• Migrate legacy assets to AWS and modernize to microservice architectures.
• Champion engineering excellence and scalable, resilient solutions.
