Job summary

S&P Global is hiring a senior leader to direct a large, multi-disciplinary team of data engineers and AI/ML specialists. You will drive enterprise data management initiatives, including data lineage, governance, and security across cloud-native platforms.

The role emphasizes collaboration with product and executive leadership to shape the data strategy and AI initiatives. You will oversee the architecture of lakehouse solutions with Delta Lake and Iceberg, ensuring scalable, compliant data

Qualifications

• 15+ years of engineering experience with 5+ years in director-level leadership.
• Deep expertise in data platform architecture (Delta Lake, Iceberg).
• Experience leading enterprise data management (lineage, schema, security).
• Hands-on with AWS services and Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
• Proven ability to drive organizational transformation and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with RBAC/ABAC/CBAC and multi-cloud data security.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale a 50+ person engineering organization across cross-functional teams.
• Strategize architecture for enterprise data management and governance at scale.
• Oversee autonomous AI systems with governed, accurate data and semantic modeling.
• Guide multi-platform lakehouse architecture integrating AWS services and Databricks.
• Translate business requirements into engineering roadmaps with exec alignment.
• Champion transformation initiatives for enterprise AI and data platform capabilities.
