Job summary

Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) seeks a Division Leader for Data, Sampling & Information Management in the Environment, Safety & Health department. This working leadership role directs a multidisciplinary team to ensure data quality, data management, and environmental monitoring programs meet DOE, EPA, and ISO standards.

You will oversee the Chemical Inventories Management Group (ChemTrack), drive QA program plans, and coordinate with contract laboratories and DOE stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, environmental science, or a related field, with substantial relevant experience.
• Advanced degree preferred, plus progressive leadership in data quality assurance or environmental data management.
• Experience working with DOE/ EPA data quality guidance and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team including QA specialists, data managers, and developers.
• Direct QA/QC and data management support to meet DOE standards and LLNL ES&H policies.
• Prepare QA plans and oversee data quality objectives for monitoring systems.
• Develop and execute database queries and analyses using TEIMS and Tableau.
• Manage relationships with contract laboratories and regulatory reporting efforts.
• Conduct complex reviews of environmental monitoring programs and provide recommendations.
• Oversee the ChemTrack inventory management group and hazardous-materials data stewardship.
