Job summary

Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in Livermore, CA, seeks a Division Leader for Data, Sampling & Information Management within the ESH Technical Services Department. This role leads a multidisciplinary team responsible for data quality, data management, and environmental monitoring programs that meet DOE, EPA, and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in chemistry, environmental science, or related field with substantial experience.
• Progressive experience in environmental data quality assurance, data management, or compliance.
• Knowledge of DOE regulatory frameworks and data quality requirements.
• Experience coordinating with contract analytical laboratories and performing QA program planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team of QA specialists, data managers, developers, and technicians.
• Oversee QA/QC and Data Management Group's support for data quality compliance and regulatory guidance.
• Develop and maintain data quality assurance program plans aligned with EPA and DOE requirements.
• Manage environmental monitoring networks and self-assessments against program requirements.
• Develop and execute data analyses and reporting using TEIMS and Tableau.
• Coordinate with contract laboratories to meet service agreements and capacity needs.
• Provide technical reviews and recommendations to ES&H leaders.
• Oversee the ChemTrack chemical inventory system governance and improvements.
