Job summary

MFS is seeking a Senior Director of Data Governance to lead enterprise data governance strategy, policies, and tooling. You will partner across data, business, operations, and technology to ensure data is trusted, well-defined and compliant throughout the data lifecycle.

You will build and evolve governance tooling, manage a governance team and collaborate with AI and cloud initiatives to scale data governance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 15–20 years of industry experience with 5+ years in asset management data governance or related field.
• Experience developing and leading data governance programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage a adaptive data governance strategy and framework.
• Establish policies for effective data management, privacy and risk mitigation.
• Lead a data governance team to define tooling and metadata management.
• Collaborate with technology teams to implement tooling and data policy execution.
• Represent MFS with regulators, vendors and external partners.
