Job summary

Quality Technology Services, LLC is seeking an experienced facilities and operations leader to drive site performance in Colorado. You will manage the local team, oversee power/cooling, security, and maintenance, and ensure regulatory compliance while achieving financial targets.

Collaboration with COE managers and Sales will be essential. The role requires 10+ years in data center or facilities management and strong cross‑functional leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Engineering, Architecture, Computer Science, MIS or equivalent professional experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ten or more years of experience in data center operations management, facilities management, corporate engineering, or related field.
• Five or more years of experience leading cross-organizational teams in a critical-facility environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the site team, develop capabilities, and set policies to satisfy customers, engage employees, and meet financial objectives.
• Implement operating standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and environmental responsibility.
• Oversee expenditures, staffing, and capital projects to ensure compliance with financial goals and budgets.
• Provide leadership with local managers and remote line of business owners to meet operating standards.
• Manage operations, space planning, power and cooling, security, maintenance, and related services for site(s).
• Establish and maintain facilities policies to comply with applicable laws and licenses.
• Drive innovative facilities programs with an environmentally conscious approach.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and coordinate maintenance agreements and procedures.
• Supervise the preparation and implementation of the operating budget.
• Engage with community and professional associations and build staff relationships.
