Job summary

Oracle Corporation seeks a Director of Estimating to build and lead an owner-side cost intelligence function for data-center tenant fit-out and technology infrastructure. The role partners with Engineering to ensure design standards meet performance while controlling costs.

You will establish independent should-cost estimates, benchmarks, and repeatable baselines for co-location projects, and lead AI-enabled estimating initiatives to drive cost-aware design decisions across global programs.

Responsibilities

• Build an owner-side estimating capability with independent should-cost estimates for recurring data-center tenant fit-out types
• Develop benchmark pricing, unit-cost libraries, labor assumptions, productivity factors, and market intelligence for low-voltage and technology-infrastructure scopes
• Review co-location provider pricing to identify gaps, scope overlap, and negotiation opportunities
• Provide leadership with defensible cost positions before and during negotiations
• Create repeatable bid-ready assumptions and scope packages for each build type
• Establish an assumption-management process to track design changes and pricing impact
• Document assumptions and basis for estimates to enable reliable decisions
• Partner with Engineering to review design standards and challenge cost-driving requirements
• Contribute to cost-aware design standards and decision frameworks balancing performance and capital efficiency
• Interface with providers and internal stakeholders to resolve scope and pricing ambiguity early
• Develop consistent reporting on estimate variance, cost drivers, and negotiation outcomes
• Lead AI and automation implementation in estimating including rapid concept estimates and historical-cost intelligence
