Job summary

Oracle Corporation's Global Program Controls organization seeks a Director of Estimating to build and lead an owner-side cost-intelligence function for data-center tenant fit-out and technology infrastructure.

This role will establish independent should-cost estimates, benchmarks, and market intelligence to challenge pricing from co-location providers and low-voltage contractors, while partnering with Engineering to optimize design for cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience leading owner-side estimating for data-center tenant fit-out or similar projects.
• Strong commercial judgment with ability to challenge and negotiate.
• Experience applying AI or automation to estimating processes.

Responsibilities

• Build an owner-side estimating capability with independent should-cost estimates.
• Develop benchmark pricing, unit-cost libraries, and productivity factors for critical scopes.
• Review provider proposals to identify gaps, overlap, and risk premiums.
• Provide defensible cost positions for negotiations.
• Create repeatable, bid-ready assumptions and packages for standard builds.
• Lead AI-driven estimating initiatives from concept to baseline tracking.
